Hi everyone! We are so excited to chat about this week's topic, Frenchie Davis. She is one of the contestants for the new show,'The Voice'. The Voice is a new singing competition featuring contestants paired up with famous artists, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Cee Lo Green and Adam Levine. One of our favorite contestants, Frenchie Davis, made it onto Christina Aguilera's team and has been excelling and belting her way thru the competition thus far. Frenchie is not only bold, beautiful and plus size, she's also bald, beautiful and plus size! Christina Aguilera said to her last week that she not only sang beautifully but she looked beautiful too.

Have you seen the show 'Jerseylicious' on the Style network?! It is full of extreme fashion and makeup. These women on this show wear some wild outfits and dramatic makeup. It's just one of those guilty pleasures. The show is in it's 3rd season now and I was so happy to see a new character on board. Her name is Doria Pagnotta and she is so full of spunk and energy. Doria is a makeup artist/hairstylist. She is the only plus size woman on the show and dresses way better than the other girls from her cast. Doria and a couple other cast members even came up with the idea for an event in the Gatsby Salon to host called "Full Figured and Fierce: A Gatsby Celebration of Plus-sized women". American Idol

As I watched American Idol last night, I couldn't help but notice contestant, Lakeisha Lewis. She is a Los Angeles resident and performed in Las Vegas on last night's episode. She is plus size, has amazing vocals and looked absolutely gorgeous!

Her first outfit was a skirt and top with a black crop jacket. She looked so chic! Her second outfit was a sexy cold shoulder sheer lace top with skinny pants. I admired her for looking so confident and beautiful on stage on top of having an amazing voice. Although she didn't make it to the next round in Los Angeles, she made a grande exist in a poise and stylish manner.

OneStopPlus.com Plus Size Runway Show debuts in Times Square

Yesterday, OneStopPlus.com launched the first ever, online only, international plus size Fashion Show. It aired at 1pm EST and Roaman’s was there to watch it live in Times Square in the great city of New York. The consensus of the runway collection was the same: fabulous!

The brand displayed its fall fashion collection, “Sultrous Garden,” as part of the first-ever virtual plus-size fashion show. Leading curvy model Robyn Lawley modeled 30 looks from "Collection by OSP," a brand created exclusively for this event by our very own and talented designer, Zahir Babvani.

The collection is nature inspired and here’s what Zahir had to say: “The dark, sultry palette that I selected for this season made me think of an enchanted forest or garden. [..]The collection is made up of asymmetrical silhouettes & with symmetric patterns creating a visual tension & balance. The fabrics are soft & supple creating effortless fluidity. The styling of the pieces is simple sophisticate- pure, uncomplicated shapes with striking color.”
And that’s exactly what he delivered! Each piece was the epitome of what style in plus size fashion should look like as the collection embodied confidence, beauty and pizzazz.

We were so excited to attend this year's Heart Truth Fashion Show, that we wanted to share this clip with everyone. The annual catwalk event raises money and awareness for heart disease research, the number one killer of women. The fashion show kicked off New York Fashion Week on Wednesday February 9th.
